The Rock Creek Free Press takes no advertising from the large corporations
that dominate the Main-Stream-Press. We rely on community support through subscriptions, advertising
and donation. Defending democracy and overthrowing tyrants is hard work!
Advertising Rates
We keep advertising rates low. The Rock Creek Free Press is distributed throughout the downtown Washington, D.C. area particularly in the area of Capitol Hill and DuPont Circle. We aim to be in every coffee shop, book store and news stand within half a mile of the capitol dome.
We also send thousands of papers to 9/11truth groups throughout the country: Denver, Austin, Virginia Beach, Kansas City, Atlanta, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, Madison and other progressive cities.
Circulation - 15,000 issues - twice that many readers.
Advertising Rates:
$5 - Per square inch.
10% Discount for larger ads
(Over 10 square inches)Text columns in the Creek are about 2.5 inches wide. So if you want an add 2 columns wide (5 inches) and 4 inches tall, that is 20 square inches or $100 (actually $90 after the discount).

Ad deadlines fall in the middle of the month preceding. For example, to be in the July issue, we must have the ad by mid June. The paper
usually appears on news stands one week before the first of the month.
